White handwritten text on a black background spells 'Hello'.

Salaam, hi! My name is Radhiyah. I like to describe myself as a tiny and shy Singaporean who enjoys creating illustrations and paintings using both traditional and digital mediums. I also like trying other crafty hobbies. Since childhood, art and crafts have been my way of expressing my thoughts and emotions.

Being surrounded by trees and Mother Nature, exploring coffee shops, bookstores, flea markets, and strolling in the streets, are some of my favourite outdoor activities.

Apart from creative pursuits, I am also pursuing a part-time Bachelor's in Islamic Psychology and am currently in my final semester. I hope to be beneficial and utilise my knowledge and skills to help others, whether through art or other means.

I graduated with a Diploma in Internet and Multimedia Development in 2010, but did not pursue a career in this field. Instead, I worked as a preschool teacher for six years, and acquired a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education.

Since moving abroad in 2017, I started exploring art again as a tool to cope, heal, and adapt to this significant life event. My work is generally inspired by nature, culture, and regular sights. I have many aspirations and goals, and one of them is to be a children's book illustrator!

I currently live in the suburbs of Île-de-France with my husband, who is truly my best companion. I navigate life between Singapore and France. And although I have grown to love it here, my heart is always missing my homeland. Nevertheless, I am still seeking friends who share the same values and interests, and I am constantly thinking about how I can form my own community here, whether physically or virtually. So if you are interested, do send me a greeting or let me know! It would be a great pleasure and dream too, to be able to share my artworks and little skills that I have learn with you.

I look forward to more connections, collaborations, and growth with others. Thank you for reading and dropping by here <3
